Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has claimed he was placed in solitary confinement once again on New Year’s Eve – this time for washing his face about a half-hour earlier than he was supposed to.
“I managed to earn my tenth consecutive solitary confinement last year,” President Vladimir Putin’s fiercest critic said on Instagram, Russian news outlet The Insider reported.
“My prison ghouls weren’t lazy and convened their commission on the weekend of December 31 just for me,” he added.
